Dropped my 2007 FLHX off about a month ago (when we got home from Daytona) for a nice 103 Zippers kit and I finally got it back today.
When it was apart I decided to have Revolution Performance do a complete job on the crank and lighten the flywheel so I am very eager to see how the lighter flywheel helps with the quick RPM's.
We had the bike on the Dyno this morning just to make sure the AFR was good to 3000 RPM for a 500 mile break in and all I can say is WOW..... this thing is going to have a ton of TQ. The motor is super tight so the builder is telling me that I really need to be careful with it for the first 500 then get it back on the dyno for a tune up to 4500 RPM's.... At 1000 miles they will do a finial tune and I should be able to let it rip!!!!! I hope I can wait that long..... Dyno sheets to come in 1000 LONG SLOW miles
Welded, balanced, and lighten the flywheel.... Bike revs up quick as hell now, but that is going to be a challenge keeping it under 3000 RPM's for 500 miles
