It's maybe the same way they measure handlebars..........you ever try and figure out how they come up with those numbers???

All Aces, I got on line to find a way to calibrate my food scales. 1 cup of water weighs 7.886 oz. I went with 8oz. (less container which mine was 3oz). Right after calibrating I weight my HD Hybrid again it was now 2lbs 1oz. that was 1oz less than stated before. I just wanted to see why the big difference between our weights. Maybe my short face shield weighs the 4oz. difference. Yes I did think about the "SWEAT" factor, TFB. LOL!!!!!
