Im thinking about having a dino just to see what the new cams and gears added up . I hate to see them gouge my bike like they stole it .It,s been dino tune 3 time in a year.No tune now just numbers.
Yes dyno the bike its realy the only way to know if its right and not that much $$ I have a independant shop localy that will do 3 pulls for $35and print your a/f ratio. with new cams you may have a tq dip and not know it only way to know is dyno it worth every penny.
Running rich befor the up grade and bit hardstarting, starts on the first bump . I check the plugs and the black soot was gone with in 10 miles, there are really no tuners in N M that know harley efi and the mods I have . At 3 k rpm she open up and screems with so much lower RPM kinda of frighten in 3 rd gear and still below 5 k rpm.
My bike's been on the dyno several times, each time for tunning after engine mods.
I don't think I would just dyno my Bike just to see how much power it had. But that's just me. I would think in your situation just having cams installed their would be some more power to be had somewhere. So I would have them tune at the same time. But if it runs good like you say, then I wouldn't bother. Just my 2 cents.
