Default Replacing Rush Baffles

Just received a pair of Rush 2" baffles to replace the 1.5" baffles on my '10 Limited. Have the Jackpot ceramic headpipe and Power Vision coming from Fuel Moto, plus the Stage 1 air cleaner. The new baffles are wrapped tighter than a dick's hatband with masking tape I suppose. Do I just install them like they came out of the box? The old ones look like they had some tape on them, but of course came out kind of burnt and the wrapping falling off. Thanks for any input. Jr.

I have replaced mine also. Leave the tape on. It will burn off after a couple of days with no problems. You will really like the 2". I went from 1.5 to 1.75 to 2.0 . I like the 2 better.

Have fun with the noise. Gee, I had the Rush with 1.75. Went with a non cat head pipe, Screamin Eagle intake with the PC V and I ripped out the 1.75s as they got too loud without the cat and went to the 1.50. But then again...I'm 57 and not likin the too loud stuff anymore. And also, when you go too slip them in, get your pipes hot and that will help a ton. No way could I get mine in the whole way until I got them hot, pipes that it.

Give 'em a phone call, I'm sure they will set ya right up with a set of baffles.
I've been running the 2" baffles for 35k miles and really enjoy them....
not obnoxiously loud, yet some bark when you want it.

I ordered my Rush baffles from phatperformanceparts.com Ordered Monday am, they were here today in the afternoon. Already stuck them in. They were $70.95 plus $11.89 shipping. Hope this helps you out. I thought it was kind of tough finding them online at a decent price. Jr.
