Default Tire Question

I'm almost due for a rear tire. I would like to go with a Metzler. I sthere a problem with a Metzler on the rear and keeping the Dunlop on the front?

Thanks

YES! Most MC tires are matched sets. For example, the tires that are on your bike now are the same model. While many may argue that there is no problem mixing, it is like wearing two different makes of shoes; they work but not very comfortable or wothout problems. Stick with two of the same models. With the small contact area of an MC tire the cost of a problem with mis-matched tires is rather large.

Stay with a matched set front and rear.

If you are like most riders, you will wear out your rear tire twice to once on the front.

Maybe next tire change do both and get another brand.
