I looked for a while before picking these up. I try to stick with Harley stuff as much as possible but no go in this case.

Love or hate the look, the big thing for me was losing my soft lowers.

Desert Dawgs are a great product and I'll use them for rain/cold weather, and I think they/most even say don't use over 70 degrees, but I needed them year-round to enjoy the bike. Without Desert Dawgs, my boots kept creeping outward in the wind and I'd end each ride feeling like I had pulled my groin muscles. What fun!

These deflectors solve that problem and take away the nagging worry in the back of my mind that I was blocking too much air from cooling the motor.

I think this is less of a concern with hard lowers in that they don't act like perpendicular sails!

Default deflectors

Do these kury fork deflectors hit the hard lowers on a Ultra?

Thanks for the pics. I think they are the best looking ones I've seen.
Now just to make sure I'm clear on this, my problem is the wind from under the Windshield that comes up the side of the gas tank then up my chest and hit's me on the bottom of my chin.
If these will help on this, I'm all over them...Thanks.

I can't say for certain but I think they would. At full turn they rest against/bend around the crash bar. Check the website/call them to be certain.

I never seemed to have that problem before or after, but based on other threads I've read here on deflectors in general, they should help. Search on some of those threads.

I do know that folks have posted that the middle fork deflector does nothing, so I wouldn't buy one of those.

I stopped a J&P in Daytona Monday on my way home from a weekend trip and bought a pair of these and installed them in the lot. Took about 5 minutes to install with only a 1/2" wrench. They completely cut out the wind hitting your legs and reduce the updraft around the tank considerably. I think they look good and could not really notice much of a difference with the vents open but suspect that in cold weather that it would be more noticeable. I like them.

I put one on mine after the first 1000 miles. I think that they make a grerat difference in air flow.
