Default Gauges

A couple questions:

I bought a 6 gauge set set of previously owned silver faced gauges For my 09 FLHT that currenty only has the four gauges.

What additional parts if any will I need to install these gauges?

The milesage on the new to me gauges is way less than my bike, about 11,000 miles less. I really dont want to send the speedo out to be recalibrated, it will take forever. If I buy a new speedo for my wifes 08 Dyna from HD it comes with a cable to program the milege from the bikes ECM to the new speedo, no need for HD to do the recalibration. Is there such a port on the FLH ECM and we just dont know about it?

I konw the four that I already have are plug-n-play, its the oil pressure and air temp that Im wondering about. Is the sensors and wiring there, if not what do I do about that?

The air temp gauge is plug and play. The connector and sensor should be under the fairing on the left side of the bike. The oil pres. gauge you will have to buy the sensor form the stealer. They have a kit for just that install. I just did the same upgrade on 02 FLHT.

I went out this morning to start the install. I also need the inner retaining rings for the two gauges Im adding. The dealer had to order those $6 for both.

So Im just waiting on the retaining rings to finish up. The dude at the parts desk is out of it some days. I was very specific when I said the retaining rings that hold the small gauges in the fairing. He tried to sell me a chrome set of gauge bezels.

Rings are ordered and all is well in the universe.
