What size cables did you have to go with on the 12". Did you have to extend the wire too?

+8" on the Clutch and +6" on the Brake. I just rerouted the wires under the radio and had enough.

I'm running a Vance & Hines Pro Pipe. I love the sound. If you're looking for an exhaust that looks & performs well, this pipe should be in the hunt. I'm very happy with them. If you're looking for obnoxious sound then you'll be disappointed. They do not get annoying over a long ride.
I just installed a set of cams & the exhaust note is louder but still not obnoxious. Good luck

I personally like the 10 myself but to each his/her own. They are the perfect height for me and I'm 5 11. Plus like you didn't want to be too far over the fairing.
