Where is the best place to buy 10" Chrome Monkey bars. Looking to get a set for my SG, and whatever else I will need to install them.
Thanks

I found mine on ebay in stock. What made you choose 10"? The reason I ask is because I was going to go with 10" and after sitting on a bike with them determined I wanted to go with 12" ones. I just liked the bar position better and that you can still use your stock mirrors.

I'm choosing the 10" because I didn't want the bars to be above the top of the fairing (not windshield) and from looking at some other member's rides, it looks like the 10 ' come right to the top of the fairing.

If I'm wrong someone please correct me. I'm going to order on Monday.

You are correct, the 12" bars stick up over the fairing a little bit. You get some wind on your hands but when its hot outside it feels nice. Now when it's cold i just get gloves that cover the sleeve of my jacket. I think what it comes down to is you either have to the bars or the mirrors sticking above the fairing.

Thanks, that gives me something to think about. Do your hands ride above your shoulders with the 12"?

They do just a little but I'm 6'1" and slouch when I ride. If I sit straight up they are about even.

What are you running for exhaust, and how is the sound?

I got mine from Dr. Vtwin. Had to wait. I initially wanted 10s for the same reason as you plus I thought I wouldn't need to change cables. I wound up going with 12s and am so glad I did. The cables are easy. The hard part is pulling the wires and that is the same with the 10s. You can use the stock mirrors with 12s. I think they look much better.
Here's a link to a pic of me riding. I am 5'10".
