I want to start by giving Fuel Moto and Jamie proper thanks to a great product and superior customer service. Back-story: when I ordered the 2-1 header there were only four left because they were transitioning to the production of the new coated header. So, being impatient, I ordered what was in stock. Next few days go by and I get an order confirmation for a 2-2 header. Few calls later and it's corrected with me and Fuel Moto believing that it was a clerical error but to be safe a second header was shipped and the first was recalled. Skip ahead to the UPS guy showing up with my Fuel Moto part and low and behold it's a 2-2 header. Furious, I hastily wrote a scathing email to Jamie expressing my frustration and concerns that I wouldn't be getting the 2-1 header because they were out of stock.
Here's the egg on face part: the tracking number was for the original order and UPS did not recall the shipment. This took about an hour to figure out and if I had looked at the tracking number would have saved myself a lot of anger and embarrassment. But being a true customer service guy Jamie called me with in a few hours while at the Ohio trade show, on a weekend, from his personal phone to assure me it will be fixed! Two days later the correct part arrived. Humbled? Hell Yeah.
Installed it this weekend and holy schnitzel, it's got that new bike smell again, more volume, more flow, more seat of the pants getty up and go. Thanks Jamie, I'm going to personally endorse your product to everyone I know. If you see a jump in sales to Northern New York you can thank me by sending me a Fuel Moto sticker to throw on my truck. To everyone reading this BUY THIER STUFF!!
I am highly thinking about the Fuel Moto goodies myself. I just got done breaking in my 2011 FLHX 103" and I'm ready to hear it.
I like the look of the two pipes coming out of the rear of the bike so a 2-1 isn't an option for me. I also like the fact that on the Jackpot head pipes allow the OEM covers to bolt right to them. Hopefully soon I'll have some.
I didn't think the 2-1 headpipe for the 2010 year was available yet. Been checking the fuel moto web sight but only seen the 2-1-2. what was the price you paid ?
I thing I paid around 400 but like I said I got one of the last uncoated headers. There have been a few new threads from Jamie indicating that they are making new ones that will be coated.
