Also I looked at all the other brands and liked the HD's the best so please no "I should have bought this or that"
Guess I should have saved my breath. I liked the HD's much better otherwise I would have chosen the easier to install and double the price ones. Not knocking the others (except Kury who sells only junk) just thought I'd buy what I liked
........but I sure would like to know in detail how it was done.
"
Yep, a real PITA. Took me a LONG time, lots of finger scrapes and cramps to get the right side in. I think the details for success is in using the right curse words - like $%## and ^&%%#$# and *&&^^% - followed of course by the right beverage to wash out my mouth.

Looks and feels good when it is done though.
Trust me, I tried the curse word method to the fullest, to no avail. Just curious on how on Gods green earth anyone (big hands like me or the tinyest hands) could possible get that top button head allen bolt tight. Just think, they actually paid some engineer to design that. Probably got his degree out of a corn flakes box
I installed the HDs with little problem, they have been on and working well for over 2 years.
The HD ones are the really truly ugly ones, just flat black plastic..nothin' special, and no taste for sure. Then again some folks like that...no taste.. bland-ness..and feel comfortable not having any individuality.. safe-r not to stick out in the crowd, better to look like everyone else.

Guess we're not entitled to our opinion. Glad you bought the "only pair of RJ's" so you can be unique. Or maybe your just trying to convince yourself that paying double was the cool move
