I agree with you, just never heard of it being illegal, and also I guess I'm not too worried about being stopped, most of the time I ride with my wife and she does the same thing, and she's a LEO,lol. Also what is the size of the Mustang seat you have 13, or 15, or I guess the model # will say, looks good, will be reading when you post how it works out.
I am an optometrist and would like to remind everyone that if your lights are too bright, the glare you are creating blinds oncoming drivers, especially if they have cataracts (Fla). They could cross over the centerline, and wham. So I can understand why it is illegal to run brights with spots. I thought my spots were obnoxiously bright, in town yesterday, so I am not sure if I am going to run them all the time. I will have to pay attention to other peoples bikes more, if the weather ever clears here. Raining and in 40s today. Didn't see any bikes out.
