Hardly ever use mine. Tired of getting flashed. Country roads at nice they work great for spotting critters in the ditches. Going to look at wiring them to stay on with brights.

Waste of time - no pattern to the lens just means a bright light scattered in all directions & the halo effect blocks the direction indicators/flashers.
If the MoCo were clued up, they'd offer directional lenses with a dip & main option, or simply a high power LED for visibility.

Next time your driving around notice the baggers with them on...... There is no doubt that they help, I have surveyed from my cage recently. I would would say it makes the bike at least 50% more noticable during the day.
FYI, I am layed up on the couch right now with a shattered left leg "won't be walking for three more months" wishing I had those lights on my FLHRS. Maybe if I had, the dumbass that turned into me head-on would have seen me.
