Spot Lights,when do you use them?

On all the time-Hi beam/lo beam, day or night.....I think that if it were legal to run them with hi beams they wouldn't be wired to be on only with lo beam. My pick up's fog lights go out on hi beam also.....Cecil
All the time. In fact, I'm getting ready to add some caliper mounted fog lights and to re-wire the spots so they will stay on when the hi beams are on.

When properly adjusted, they should not throw light out any farther then what the low beam, center light does. There should not really be more glare from them then running the single low beam, just a wider light pattern.
So if you are getting the high beam flash then you need to adjust your spots downward a little.
I have not rewired mine to stay on with the high beam yet but it will be done int he near future.
