Always on... easier to see me in the day, easier for me to see at night.

I ride with mine on all of the time, if it's daytime I'll also leave the headlight on high beam just to try and be more noticeable to everyone.

I leave them on all time in the day light. I find myself getting flashed a lot in the evening if I leave them on, so I shut them off at night.

Did you wire them different? When I put my high beam on the passing lights go out.

There's a thread floating around that shows you how to wire the spots to stay on with the high beam. My spots are always on.
