trying to find out the REAL WIDTH dimension of both the overall tip to tip and the clear width between th upright bars....
I like the height of the Santee 11s but all the pictures i've seen looks like the "center" is about 2" wider then needed and the overall width is 37".... and i believe the Wild 1 577s are 35" wide..... just wanna check
577's are 38" outside tip of grip to grip. I'm guessing about 36" actual bar width and the TBW sensor and grips add the rest. 15" wide between the uprights. Hope this helps
My 577's measure 38 3/8" from the front side and 37" from the riders side of the bar. Both of these dimensions are with Harley "chrome and rubber" grips installed on a 07 cable throttled bike.
My uprights measure 15 1/2" were the up bend starts and 16" before the 90 degree bend out to grip location.
Where in NJ are you. p.m. me I live in NJ just put the 11 santees on my bike if your close come by and take a look. Not a fun project but the satisfaction is well worth the time and headaches.
