Default Wild1 515 and Wire Extensions

Just ordered the 10" apes from Wild1. Going to have my local HD do the install. John from Wild1 mentioned no reason to replace the cables but mentioned extending the switch wiring. For those of you that swapped for the 515's, did you find that to be the case? Did you get the switch wire extension kit from HD? By the way, have an 011 RKC. Stock bars are driving me crazy.

I went with the 10" Wild1 Mini Apes as well on my 09' RKC. Wild1 said I would likely need signal extensions, and that turned out to be the case. I purchased an 8" extension from NAMZ. I probably could have gotten by with a 4" extension, but the extra wiring actually makes it easier. I also ran the signal wiring inside the bars, which makes for a much cleaner look.
