battery voltage at battery

Default battery voltage at battery
i just replaced my battery and noticed the volt gage was reading 14.5 ish at approx 3000 rpm and up . is this normal
2000 FLHT standard

At charge, 14 volts minimum, 14.5 perfect.

Sounds like you are charging fine. You did not say what battery voltage is after it sets about 24 hours. Should be about 12.5 volts.
Remember
12.8 = full charged
12.6 = 75%
12.3 = 50%
12. =25%

Charge it up over night and see if any change My SG runs around 13.75 - 14.00 and I run a battery tender (Deltran) if she sits for more than 2 days.
