Fairing mirror visibility
Went to the dealer and was told they couldn't find an issue. I told them I wasn't satisfied.
Part of the issue I hope is my fault. Somehow I mixed up the appointment. They had me down for the 11th no the 10th. So They just did a quick check.
They said where I was so close to the 5,000 mile service that they would look at it again then.
I just want to know if this is normal. Anyone?
MBrown, I partially agree if under a load. On a flat road at 45-45 mph (4th gear) or 50-55 mph (5th gear) I don't see a problem. The tach is around 2,200 rpms. These are the most common cruising speeds for me. Also the user manual allows for this gear choice at those speeds (best I can remember).
I'f all I need to do is change to handlebar mirrors I would do it but if I have a buzzing in the bars, it will buzz in the bar mirrors too.
I didn't have this issue with my 07 Road King Classic and that had 1" dia. mini apes.
