I am hoping someone can help me with a question. I have an 07' Road King Custom. I want to take off the chrome wind deflector above the headlight. I want more of a clean look. How does it come off and will it leave any holes where it was mounted. Will I need a new riser cover and top trim piece and what are the H.D. part numbers? Thanks in advance for the help!
Pretty sure you will need at least a new riser cover. Others on here can tell you exactly what you need as several have done this. I happen to like mine.
Try a forum search. There is a search button in the upper right just above your location and join date. Good luck.
This should help you. http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....=13&A=454&B=37
Looks like you just have to change #30 for a #29 is all. You will have to search a different model for the Part# of #29. That little ring #36 just pops up with a small flat head screwdriver or knife.
