Default 120R Racing time and tips

Hey just checking to see if anyone has taken their 120R to the track yet and got some times and willing to share some insights. I have been doing the light to light thing but its time to get serious. I am hopefully going to spend some time at the track soon and will start getting use to lauching my 900lb racer with some mean intentions.

Look for reaction time games online, get the rpms up at around 2200 roll on the throttle while letting out on the clutch, you want to be just before the friction zone so you don't have the lag between your reaction, and letting out the clutch. , get the feet up in a smooth motion.
Know where your bike makes the most power ,then shift to keep it in the power.
A lot of stuff to do in 1/4 mile.
I have been down a track or 2, it is all about racing the lane , not the guy in the other one.

Found a game that I used a lot.

I checked out the AHDRA website and in the first two events the winner in the Draggin Bagger class ran uncontested passes - 11.13 @ 113 if i remember right. I think it was an 06 Electra glide standard

Jeff Stevens is the guys name and it looks like he's won at 3 events uncontested. It looks like 11.595@114mph is his best time

That's a fast bagger. That's the class where they all run 120R motors right?

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is pleased to announce the continuation of its long-standing sponsorship of the All Harley Drag Racing Association along with the launch of a new Draggin’ Bagger drag racing class for the 2011 racing season.
The foundation of the Draggin’ Bagger class is Harley-Davidson’s Screamin’ Eagle 120R engine, a fully assembled performance engine designed for off-road racing use. Assembled at Harley-Davidson’s Pilgrim Road facility in Menominee Falls, Wisconsin, the 120 cubic-inch V-Twin engine provides the capability for an awesome 135 horsepower and 137 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel when equipped with a high-flow throttle body and injectors and tuned intake and exhaust systems.
Reserved for 1999-and-later Harley-Davidson Touring model motorcycles equipped with the 120R engine, the Draggin’ Bagger class features limited performance modifications to ensure low entry cost and a high level of competition. Original equipment frame, fairings, saddlebags and other bodywork are required, and limited modifications are permitted to the brakes, suspension, transmission and other components to maintain an externally stock appearing motorcycle.

I didn't know you could get a 120r in a pre 07 bike interesting.

It wouldn't be a simple bolt in deal. '07 and later bagger primary and trans would have to be used as well. Different spline on the crank etc. Not sure about the wiring harness either. I'm sure it could be done, just a lot more involved than dropping one into an '07 and later bike.
