Did almost 400 miles last weekend going to Ocean City, MD for the bikes to the beach rally. I had the same problem as the OP, always sliding forward and sitting up to high. Sent the seat to MCC for the single layer memory foam. I'm 6'-1" and around 210. All I can say is wow. best money I ever spent. No butt problems at all. Send them the seat and some money and let them do their thing.

MMC is local to me. They KNOW their stuff. I'm not quite as tall as you but our weight is close. They suggested the double decker for me. It's fantastic!!! Do it!!!

I'm 6'1" 225, I did the double decker, narrowed the nose, and lowered 1". All is good but the 1" lower, puts my knees to high and in a slight strain when I got my feet on the boards, like sitting on a stool too short, highway pegs no problem. It's not unbearable but I would forego the lowering if I did it again. MCC great folks, great product, great customer service, did a ride in and dealt with them in person.
