Are you talking replacing stock ones?

Easy, I just did it and it took 30 minutes. I used the adapters for 6.5's, if going w/ 5.25's even less time.

The hardest part, is removing the fairing - I say this with some tongue-n-cheek. If you can get the fairing off, the rest is easy. Unplug the +/- wires, unscrew some screws, the speakers pull straight out. I did it, as RLJ said, from start to finish about 30 mins.

Just watch when you unbolt the speakers, there is a bracket attached to one of the bolts/screws and look how the speaker spacer is oriented.

30 MIN OR SO. i HAVE THE HARLEY BOOM AUDIO,WAY BETTER THAN HOGTUNES.

Also be very aware that the screws are not all the same length. Put one of the long ones in the top and you're going to be really pissed. Don't ask how I know.

And... check your fairing support brackets while in there. Especially if it's an older model.

thanks guys, I appreciate it. I was looking at it, looks like the headlight ring, and 7 screws for the outer fairing.. Didnt think it would be all that bad. Support brackets SHOULD be good, 2011 here Thanks again!

you dont hafta pull the headlight ring... you just unplug wires at the back of the lamp , when the faring is almost off
