Good luck.....thoughts and prayers headed your way. I'm a cancer survivor myself and would advise you to take control of your treatment. Get a copy of your medical record and keep a list of you and your family's questions in a notebook (I had this and it really helped me in remembering all of the questions from family members). Also, make sure your "normal" physician is aware of all of your treatments.
I would also not assume that you will have "negative" results from Chemo...not everyone gets as sick as a dog....may not happen to you.
Just keep your attitude positive.....and get the rest they tell you to.
dienosed stage 4B Hodgkins two weeks after I turned 21 I rode my kawi 500 green streke from simi valley to ucla for radiation treatments remenber having to stop a couple of times on the freeway from feeling light headed. Then they started chemo (mopp) 6months stayed in hospital for the first treatment wife drove me for the rest. Mopp was the worst your lucky they dont use that one these days. two months later back to riding, wife want to live in the country had to trade my kawi for honda 305 wet dream+250.00 an moved to wilderville Oregon. That was in 1974 an now I ride an ultra, point being you got a lot of riding ahead of you. treat yourself good, an your love ones better their the ones it hits the hardest,
My Brother In Law had the same as you, funny thing but he noticed it by when we use to go out for Monday Night Football and drink BEERS?
He would get some pain in his shoulder and chest area but only when he drank the beers slow, when he drank them fast the pain would go away ? I know it sounds weird but thats what he would say?
But the Good news was he like you caught it early and after Treatment( Took about 1 year Total) he was done with it and in Great Shape with this disease.
I wish you much Luck with the Treatment and Hope all Works out well for you

Sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Attitude has everything to do with recovery, and yours sounds wonderful. Although you may have some bad days with the treatments, keep the positive outlook...you'll be fine. Prayers sent for a full and speedy recovery.
