Am thinking of getting this shield to have a broader view over the windscreen compared to the stocker on my '09 FLHTCU (I'm 6'0"). I have a Garmin GPS and a Radar detector mounted on two Ram Mounts my left handlebar, and am wondering whether these will work with the Klock Werks screen. As it is now I have the GPS about 1/2 inch away from the stock screen.
The bottom two inches or so of the screen are almost vertical, so that might give you a clue as to whether you will have clearance for the GPC. Here's a pic of it on my '11 Ultra Classic:
I've got an XM antenna that stretches forward about 4" on top of the Zumo, and the Ram mount I'm using has a standard size vertical arm too so it might be bumping up against the Klock Werks screen. I'll see if the point of contact will be above the 2" mark.
I went with the 7" from long ride shields. I love and for the price. I got the shield and the lower air deflectors for under $115 or so. They work well, very happy here. There is room to put your gps, radar on it also.
