A question about tuners
My uncle bought a 2000 RKC with a Big Bore and 203 cams. Its got M&M injection and a SERT. The SERT key has been lost by the previous owner and he has given up on ever finding it. He has changed some things on the bike performance wise and would like to be able to retune the bike. The problem is obviously the SERT button is lost. We were wondering if we could put a Power Commander on it with a map that would get it real close without reflashing the ECM to the stock calibration? Trying to save a little money and still be able to remap... I just hate to see him have to buy a new SERT or TTS and then spend more money for a dyno tune and I was thinking a PC III would be his cheapest way out. Is reflashing the ECM to factory setting possible without the SERT button and would a dealership be the only people who could do this without buying a new SERT?
