Death wobble?

Never had this experience on a streetbike but did on a KTM dirtbike I used to have. I was going 65mph down an atv trail when the tank slapper happened, ripped the bars right out of my hands. I was able to re-grab the bars and get it under control, never have I been so scared. I was told that it likely happened because the suspension (mostly the rear) was not set up for my weight. So I put heavier spring on rear shock and a steering dampner which seemed to help, but that bike always had me wondering even tho it never did that after those changes. Supposably something about weight distribution, suspension differences, and tire inflation can cause this occurance in both street and dirt bikes.

I've had my 2011 SG for a month and half with 1300 miles on it. Had it up to 80 mph with no problems. Of course I keep my hands on the bars...lol. Here's the link to the video on that story though:

[QUOTE=vistavette;8334989]My 11 sg also does it around 25-35 miles an hour. It's not extreme, but it is surely noticeable. My old 06 sg with 13000 miles began to do it in curves above 80, but is was the *** end doing all the shaking.
