It's not pretty,
But for the long haul it might be effective

I have a marathon cushion and it is far superior to the airhawk. It really is comfortable and it is secure on the bike so nobody will walk off with it like they can with the airhawk. Adjust if on the move so you don't need to stop and blow it like you do with airhawk The marathon looks way better too. Airhawk sticks out like a sore thumb.( Had one and didn't like it.)

For that price you could have a really nice mod done to your seat from Mean City Cycles.

Hey, Lilricky.
I am suffering from siaticia and anything over a hundred miles was, well, a pain in the ***! I tried a Mustang seat without any luck and then bought the Roho AirHawk. No more pain in the *** and can do 500-600 miles a day without any issues. What I like about the AirHawk is that you can "adjust" it by changing where your weight is. Roll your butt to the right and it pushes air into the left bladders and changes pressure points. It's cheaper and when I stop, I just toss it into a saddle bag. Plus I like the air flow through the cushion. It keeps your butt cooler.

I personally go for what works best for me and not the cheapest. I want results so in looking at both of these cushions I would go with the one that gives the best comfort, which is easiest to adjust, which looks better on the bike. I want to put it on and be done with it. the airhawk is cheaper but you gotta stop to add air and take it off the seat when you stop and tuck it in the saddle bag so it doesn't get stolen. Rolling your weight from side to side with the airhawk might work but personally I kind of like the two sections of the marathon that you can adjust on the fly.
I guess I would go with the marathon myself.
