Jack placement question
A little trick I learned is 2 dots of white paint on the lift arms. One tells you how far you push the lift in and the other (usually on the cross brace between the lift arms) I use as a reference point like to line up with a seam in the heat shield. This can be done after you find the correct balancing on the lift , then just lower it down till the wheels are almost supporting the load but not entirely so you can get an accurate mark on the lift arms.
It takes all the constant guess work out of it each time you use the lift.
