If it's chromed out, you like it, it rides well, and is in good shape, you got what you paid for. If you are worried about a couple of hundred bucks here or there, you shouldn't have bought a Harley in the first place. Don't worry about it. Enjoy the ride.
I paid $9,400 for the 03 e-glide in my sig pic two years ago. Paid cash and had to bug the guy for a week though. 40k miles when I bought it. I did paint it myself after I bought it.
