Default Does anyone know if these will fit?
Will the stock shocks from a 2010 Rg fit a 2002 FLHT?

Heard from a H-D parts guy to be careful when buying used Harley shocks. He said if they have been laid on there side they can be compromised, the oil can run to the top of the seal. Just going by what I was told. Maybe Dawg knows.

Wouldn't they be on their side when shipped to a dealership? I don't mean when mounted on a bike either

More like if the shock is not sealed,the oil can leak out.
If this happens you can refill them.

If you want more information call Dennis at Hal's Harley Davidson, 1-800-966-4443. He's the parts manager and the guy who was talking about this. I'm sure he'd be glad to give you more information.
