Will these shocks fit my 2010 1200 custom And keep the ride hieght the same??? Are they a good Replacement shock upgrade ??? Also considered proggressive 412hd in 12 inch lenght also.Any HELP would be greatly appreciated THANKS
they will fit. i have the black ones on my 2010 sporty. In my opinion, the ride is better than it was but take what you read on the forums with a pinch of salt- they are not miracles.
not sure if 12" is same length as your stock ones though - measure your current shock eye to eye and see what the stock length is

Cant really tell from the ebay description who makes them. I put a pair of OEM Street Glide air shocks on my 1200 Custom which are made by Arnott. I think they all say 12" but they are really like 11.75. The installed height was exactly the same as the stock shocks, which on the Custom are already a lowered shock kit. I like the ride performance a lot better than the stock. I put about 30 lbs of air for me and will bump it up to about 40lbs for 2-up. You will need to put spacers and maybe longer bolts cause the shock diameter is bigger and would hit the belt guard. The stock shocks bottomed out with the max preload and didnt take the bumps too smooth.
The stock factory shock on a Custom is 11.75". Given the mount angle of the shock, a 12" shock won't change your ride height more than 3/16". You really won't see any difference in height.
If you're considering going with Progressives, I recommend using the 12.5", as they have a better spring rate which provides a better ride.

Seeing as I am not short, I actually went with 13.5in Progressives, gives the bike a very nice ride.
