Alright, WTF is going on with my luck? First off i traded in the bad juju bike (2011 SG 103") because of the multiple bad things that happened to it during the 2 months i owned it. Got the new Merlot SG 103" everything was going well for the first 180 miles, "so i thought", when i get home from a ride. Low and behold, a stinkin oil leak!! and not just a little leak either. Looks to be coming from the inner primary where the sprocket ( belt pulley) comes out of the inner primary. Only 180 miles on the bike! Dealers not open till Tuesday, i dont dare driving it so they'll have to come and get it. Son of a bitch!! Anybody else with this problem?
Sorry about your luck. I read your other ju ju threads, and that is crazy. Sooner or later it will end and youll be a happy camper again. Sounds like harley owes you something for your troubles. Good Luck
I had my 07 bike leak like that, turned out the starter was falling off. I could hit the start button and the starter would crawl back in it's hole and start the bike, and then fall down onto the tranny and the clutch basket would sling the primary oil out all over everything.
Is their another dealer around your area ? That could change your luck.
I wish! The worst part about the whole thing is i just installed the new v&h dual exhaust lastnight and now the monster oval muffler on the left side has oil baked on it! Mother f'r
Friend of mine bought a new 2011 Street Glide two weeks ago. At 351 miles the trans started making an unusual noise. The dealer is waiting on the factory to authorize a repair or new trans.
I hear the new touring bike frame is nice, but what happened to the rest of the bike? Damn shame considering the price. I think I'll keep my '08.

Maybe you should buy a boat and give up riding? Or learn how to do your own maintenance and fix your own bikes so your not dependent on a dealer. Shouldn't have to wrench on a new bike, but it beats b@tching!
