I can't thank you both enough. The frame mount bumpers are coming OFF! I am going to talk to my local dealer and Zanotti Motor as well which is where the seat came from. I am pretty sure someone owes me a seat for "lack of" info with instructions.
I doubt you'll have any luck with either. Your bike will be under warranty still, but since you got the seat from Zanotti's it wouldn't be covered in the 60 day parts added after purchase to SWR warranty. If ya bought the bike from John at Wilkins you might have a chance. If ya bought it at Green Mountain, they'll tell you to go pound sand right off the bat.
Greetings, I purchased a SunRay HD seat by Sundowner and everything was fine for a year. Now it keeps blowing the accessory fuse. Anyone else have this problem and any thoughts on is it the seat or the electrical system. My bike is a 2009 Street Glide. Thanks. JP
I have a Sundowner on my 12 street glide and it has already starting to tear wear it's sewn at the seam jus under my right leg..I've had it less than a year.. anyone else seen this??? oh and I removed those frame bumpers when i put the seat on it too....

Its not uncommon for the seats seams to start busting. I have seen brand new seats come into the shop with the seams tight, I guess it depends on who sewed the cover together when they are made and where the cover was on the stack with it was cut out.

I would start tracing wires to see if anything looks out of place or pinched.
