I have a Sirius Starmate 6 that I installed a few weeks ago. Wired the power to the extra wire to the headlight. Antenna is on top of the radio inside the fairing. Audio patch cord to the aux input. Used the curved arm from the suction cup mount. Removed the suction cup. Bought a u-bolt wide enough to fit over the left bar. Cut the left side of it short. Slipped the curved mounting bracket on the other side. Works great! Sits right below my GPS.

harley plug in module. worth every penny to not have another thing clamped to my bars or to rely on FM modulation for signal. I get full 3 bar reception consistently with the ant puck mounted inside the fairing.

Garmin GXM-30 hooked up to my Zumo 550. Reception was garbage with the puck mounted above the J&M amp. So bad I ended up canceling the service.

I use the sirius app for my droid and just plug it in the aux jack.

With my iPhone I get 512 mb data download per month and have to pay dearly for anything over that. No problem when using Wifi as it doesn't drive up my data minutes but of course that's not possible on the bike. You must have a plan with unlimited data or something.

I use my iPhone with unlimited data- works perfectly and lets me know if my phone rings so i know if I want to stop and take the call or not- There is zero chance I'd ever pay the price that Harley asks for their module.

I have a Sirius Stratus 6. Just couldn't bring myself to pony up for the H-D XM module. Got my radio at Walmart for $45.

Going to mount it on the left glove box using an eCaddy and UltraTilt.
Antenna on dash for now. May put it inside fairing.
Power from12v socket on fairing.
Audio in to aux port.

Picked up the H-D module on eBay for $400, $85 for the harness, $35 for a new antenna at Radio Shack. Mounted Antenna on the bracket (that came with the unit I got on eBay) and I'm rockin' now! Three bar reception and loving every minute of it. Personally, I think it's worth the $$$, even though I've been fighting it for the past 2 years...
