Default Front Wheel Noise

My 2011 RKC makes a friction/rubbing noise when I roll the front wheel. It's not terribly loud (in fact I can't hear it if the bike is running). Been there from day one. Figured the front brake pads just needed to get worn down a bit, but after 500 miles there is no change. Any thoughts? Is this a normal sound on new bikes until the brakes get worn down, or should I be concerned? Thanks

There will always be a slight contact of the pads to rotors. As long as it isn't "sticky" and stopping the wheel from turning on a free-spin there are no worries. Your car also does this.
