Not sure about this, but last weekend I took my sister for a ride on my bike. At one point I heard a sound (I'm thinking from the transmission) that sounded like the it does sometimes going down to first gear. Happened twice, but no noticeable change in the ride or additional noise.
The next day I was taking a sharp turn going into town and it did it once again. No issues while I was in town or coming home (I even purposely took corners a little fast to see if I could duplicate the sound). Next day, no issues.
We've had way too much rain this season, so I hadn't had it out on an extended ride for a while, and just got back from a vacation, so the bike sat at least a month before the first incident. Only have a little under 2K miles on it. Any suggestions? Thought about stopping by the dealer to have them check it out.
