Default New Freedom shield

Got my new 8 inch windshield from Freedom shields last Friday. Installed that night and used it alll weekend. Much better than stock. Wind I get now is coming from under the fairing. I can hear radio much better and my wife. Highly recommend. They contacted me also after the sale to see if I received it and what I thought. Can't beat that. Thanks to JR for recommmendation.

yep, same here. Just been out with mine today. Like it a lot. I had the dark tint first which is pretty nice but had trouble seeing thru it. Might have been ok once you removed the plastic off but I didn't want to take the chance and returned it for the lite tint and I liked that one a lot better. I think nite riding would have been a bother with the dark tint but once you get use to the tint I suppose it would have been just fine.

Got a 6" Dark for the SG couple weeks back from Freedom, works better than the short KlockWerks shield did for me ( 5'7" ) Thicker and polished edge looks nice too. Great product and follow up after the sale.

Thanks for the review. Looking to get something a lil shorter for mine. Will check that out too.

are freedom shields also 2" wider on both sides? I heard they are thicker. I have a clark custom but it scratches really easy with just wiping it down with cleaner and a microfiber cloth. However the 2" on both sides make it night and day for comfort for me. So now Im looking else wear for something more durable but with the wider shield.
