Got to agree, no issues here, infact every now and then I have to stretch just to get in the wind.

I just finished a four country ride and had no wind buffeting issues at all on the trip. I wear a 1/2 helmet. Of course the very first thing I do when I buy a new 1/2 helmet is take off that visor that is nothing more than a wind catcher feels like it is trying to rip your head off your neck at anything more than 20 or 30 mph. Once the visor is gone, all is good.

I'm new to the EGC but when i got mine last week I had to remove the defelctors on the B/W just to get some air to me in 90 degree weather. Keepin the lowers and taller shield on.

hate to break it to you but it's not that harley doesn't care about it's customers, it's just that they don't care about you specifically. if you want your bike to fit you exactly, then it's up to you to do that. some people have issues, many more don't.

"Titan56 Heavy, Portland Tower...cleared for departure on runway I-84; caution, wake turbulance from departing Prius...climb and maintain Flight Level 120. Contact Departure on 92.3FM..."
Seriously...alot of us have been through this; just the wrong combination of rider height, windshield configuration, loading and helmet makes a long ride unbearable. I don't think you're whining,dude...this is a classic example of why you take a long test ride with ALL the gear you're taking on a long trip before you start such an adventure.

My navigator & I are doing a Milwaulkee-to-Portland (Oregon) run the first week of August; we did an all-day ride in 'road trip' configuration last weekend to identify any loading, handling, buffeting or other safety/comfort issues.

Many folks don't realize so-called 'little things' like helmet type, a 1" difference in windshield height, sheepskin seat covers/gel pads/bike shorts, correct suspension air pressure, etc. can make an immense difference in your effective daily range.

Thanks for bringing this up... and ride safe!

'An adventure is only a pain in the *** while you're having it'.

No buffeting on my 03 FLHTCUI, with stock windshield. I am 6'3". Maybe you should add lowers?
