Default true duals

Hey all I have a great set of slip ons that I want to use on a true dual set up. Where do I go to get just the pipes off the heads without having to get new slip ins. Seems as if everyone sells the whole set up...

you can buy headers just about anywhere and install them yourself. Phat performance parts, Eastern perfrmance, J&P cycles, the list goes on. Google after market headers and you will have lots of options. Remember that most HD's can take a slip-on change with out a retune, if that is all your doing, but if you take off the original headers and replce them with say Klocks double backs or Jackpots from fuel moto, you should change out the air and get a tune. You'll find that there a great many ideas and opinons here as to what tuner. After long debate, research and ease of use, the best option, for me, was to go with the thundermax Closed loop wide band tuner. Good luck to yeh. Ride safe and often.

I run dresser duals from V&H which will accept about any slip-ons except Rhinehart (I think?). Shop ebay....there are lots of headers only. As Timmy states Fuel Moto also sells them and a lot of guys are happy with those. FM and Fullsac also sell kits that can convert your stockers to TD.

Rinehart slip-ons are 1 3/4 inlet the mufflers from a Rinehart true dual set up are 2in. If your lookin for sound and not performance look at the fulsac dual kit. Quality product and easy to install. I had one on my bike until i got a killer deal on a set of Rineharts.
