I got the harley goodies extenders for the floorboards that move them out one inch, but was having a hard time having to turn my foot in to shift down...found a guy on ebay selling the extended shifter peg, since i could not find a longer bolt.
then had problems finding a spacer since i am running the willie G pegs, so ended up just putting a 1/2 socket on for now, anyone know of a better fix? or a good place to get some spacers? one cool thing is the socket is matches up perfect with the size roundness of the peg .
I'd say you had a Great idea ! Looks good ! You could buy some aftermarket crap for $ 100.00 I suppose, Just keep the Snapon logo down ! P.S. grind down the outside of the sockethead bolt and put some paint on it....it's hidden inside the peg recess anyway.

I found a 4" bolt and a 1" long chrome spacer at my local true value hardware, it's in the specialty nuts and bolts section, hardest part was finding the 5/16" x 24 thread bolt.
I found a 3/4" chrome spacer (wouldn't go longer if I was you) at a HD dealer and had a local machine shop cut down some black round head hex bolts. The ends of the bolts are recessed inside the shifter peg. I have several left over if anyone is interested.
