Think I have it narrowed down to one of two choices.. Either the Wood TW6-6 (which I have in my Dyna and really like) or the Wood 555. Will be going into the new SG with the 103 power pak. Have a Perf. Machine "Heathen" A/C coming whenever it gets built, and the V&H ProPipe (black version, which V&H claims makes more power??) and the PC-V.
All parts save for the A/C ordered from Fuel Moto, so am fairly confident I will get a good map.
Anyone else care to chime in on cam selection? As mentioned, now that I have a tach I know I will enjoy the powerband these two choices offer, but I have zero experience with Andrews, Feuling etc... Open to suggestions !!
I've got the 555 cams in my bike and happy with them. I don't have any experience with the 6-6 though, but the numbers from Fuel Moto made the decision for me.
Yup after talking with Jamie @ Fuel Moto I just ordered the 555 setup. Says it's basically an updated version of the TW6-6, power comes on a little earlier and stays a little longer.. Sounds like a win-win to me!! Nice part is they have extensive dyno tuning with these setups and their map should be awful close, saving some $$ on a dyno tune (which I will still do, just most likely next year when the wallet has a chance to rebound hahaha).
