Hey there. I have a 700.00 stealth rack, detachable backrest and 4 point chrome hardware. You are def going to want to go chrome. Looks awesome. I have it on eBay right now. It is brand new. I love it but I am getting a new back fender and bags and it will not fit any more..

I have a vivid black street glide with the chrome 4-point docking hardware. I regret getting the chrome, because the 4-point docking hardware is big and ugly in my opinion. I like chrome, but I'm tempted to get the black docking hardware so it blends in better.

I'd go black.

I went with chrome docking hardware as it matches the fender struts and doesn't stick out as much....black sissy bar and pad....looks great IMO, i've gotten lots of complements. But I don't keep the sissy bar on all the time either. Only for travelling, so the chrome hardware that stays on all the time blends with the bike better...again IMO!
Good luck!
Let your wife make the "PICK"!!! By doing that you can get her invloved & mostly likely be able to get more "STUFF"!!! We all know "MORE STUFF" is better!! Good luck
Bar far one of the smartest responses to any post I've seen in a long time.
That was the first mod I did to my bike. Parts came in UPS, I put them on and promptly removed them! What a great way to ruin a clean back end, Harley finally got rid of a bunch of clutter back there and then they want to sell you something that..... well..... clutters!!
I waited until FBI came out with a relocate kit......looks waaaaay better (cuz you can't see it)
