I love chrome but there will be several suggestions about going black. I think they all look good but this is your choice. I'd go to a local dealer and have them line them up on a floor model so you can make your own choice, if they wont do it find another dealer.
Went black hardware and black sissy bar etc on my Sedona Orange SG.. looks good to me !! But with your bike being black, I'd be tempted to go chrome all the way..
My bike is apple green. I wanted to get the black and eventually black out. But at the recommendation of the parts guy he said go chrome and he was right. Glad I did chrome. But I'd gp to the dealer and have them compare the two and go with the one you like!
Chrome docking hardware looks better on my Vivid Black FLHX. Went through the same dilemma as you are now. The only way black will look right is if you go with all blacked out peripherals. Vivid Black was made for chrome accessories, the contrast is spectacular.
Let your wife make the "PICK"!!! By doing that you can get her invloved & mostly likely be able to get more "STUFF"!!! We all know "MORE STUFF" is better!! Good luck
