very nice. I'm surprised it's not enough for you? I'd love to have that bike.
Thanks man!...
It's perfect for 600 mile trips with the wife on the back and the cruise set....but I want more, and I'm sure with a few mods here and there it's possible, ...that is why I'm asking for assitance from the people that have probably already done it.
BTW- why does my cruise control max at 89mph???...it there any way to disable it?

Change the pipes for sure to get rid of cat... my dyno guy tells me that a good tune will gain you a lot but im sure a set of cams wouldnt hurt anything either. so lets see... dyno $300-$400, pipes $750, tuner whichever you prefer or find a dyno guy good at one and go with it... they all do the same thing just in different ways...$300-$500, cams pushrods and gaskets $600, that puts you in the ballpark of $2000 not including labor. you should be able to see 120 lbs of tq and 110 hp, I would think depending on the cams you decide... Call Andrews cams, or bob woods, or... whoever and they will steer you in the right direction for cams. Like I said ask the guy that will tune you bike what tuner he likes and is good at tuning. It makes a huge difference. My cammed 96 inch will run with my brothers cammed CVO103.... so yeah it makes a huge diffence on what the dyno guy knows. Jamie and keith are very knowlegable and are forum sponsors (fuelmotousa.com) they will hook you up with a good package.
I put se259e cams, heavy breather, se 10.5.1 high compression pistons, perfect fit push rods, Vance & Hines power duals, rinehart 4" slipons and race tuner and I must say this thing is a beast
I bought it brand new 3 months ago, I put over 5,000 miles on it, it's totally stock...and I want more power!
If you had around $2,000 to throw at it for power increase...what would you do?
Please...recomendations are great..but a grocery list with part #s is way better.
.
First off, what a beautiful machine congrats! If that were my bike I would gut the head pipe and get rid of the cat, next get a TTS tuner, and then some better flowing mufflers that aren't too loud because you obviously ride alot. I would then find a competant dyno tuner that will get that beauty into the 100/110 hp/tq range and enjoy the ride!
