Found a 1995 roadking 38000 miles no history but runs good and looks real good for age. What do you think just ride it or is there many mech issues that need serious attention
I probably should add I know it needs servied fluids changed etc but I'm concerned about engine and maybe primary. I have read about cam chain tensioners and diff primary problems on older HDs but really not much on this age bike
I have the same bike with 60k on it. I bought it with 55k on it and have not had any problems other than a cpl small oil leaks. I love the bike and as long as u don't mind doing alittle work on it some times I would get it. Get the manual to have around the house. And ride the crap out of it.
No serious issues with that engine/tranny. May develop slight oil seepage at the lower cases gaskets. Not a big deal. Lots of good mileage left on that bike.
Maybe alittle high but it is riding season. I paid $5800 for mine last year. It was in great condition all I did was buy and ride. And I'm in Louisiana if that helps
The only problem that I see with that year bike is getting accessories for it. Seems like the description always reads "1996 and up" and the guy has a 1995 and can't get the accessories he wants. Do a search on this forum. You may find what I'm talking about. Other than that, an EVO with 38k on it is still new.

95-96 roadkings are all pretty much the same. I don't know why all off these companies list there parts for 96 and up. But from what I have delt with if it will fit a 96 it will fit the 95. The seat is the only thing that I have had trouble finding what I want cause they changed them in 97
