Default Crashed!!! sell or keep??

what to do??? layed the bike down with the boss on the back.. did what appeared to be minor damage and turned out its gonna get a new frame on my 2010 street glide.. now i'm thinking i may need to trade this bike off?? im very apprehensive about keeping a bike that has been apart that far by someone other than myself... got 13k miles on it and it was in great shape... should i trade it and what should i get as trade in????

Sounds like a good time to get a new bike.

Will the title transfer as a salvage/repaired title? That seems to make a big difference in resale/trade. Sorry to hear about the mishap. Glad you guys were hopefully not hurt too bad. If you go with a new bike and like what you have now, maybe look into another.

I had an accident in April 2010 on my 07 ultra classic. the insurance totaled the bike due to bent frame. Even they don't believe the bike will be the same. They paid me now I am the proud owner of a 2010 ultra limited. If you have insurance think new. Also since you don't mention injuries hope you guys are OK which is all that matters. good luck and keep us posted on which way you go.

hope you and the boss are ok....better off getting rid of it...non-crashed bikes are hard enough to keep runnin

I've had some bosses that I would have taken for a ride and crashed just in an attempt to kill 'em. Nice job on your part, I like the way you think!

Silly question by the way, New bike of course

Default not sure

the bike is gonna be repaired... the frame was found to have damage after repairs were started... insurance has agreed to the supplement to the original estimate but im spooked on keeping the bike... had a conversation with sales from the dealer and got an offer of 15500 for trade but im thinkin i should try for 17000 or so on trade for a 2011 since the 2012's are coming soon!!! not sure what to do/?? any deals to be had on 2011's right now?????
