I am thinking there has got to be a module that I can plug in to aux, and stream to the module which in turn will transmit to radio via the cord plugged into aux.
There is a device for sale in the classified section that I think is what you are looking for. It's listed as "the Bomm" I believe. I can't post a link as I am on mobil version. Do a search.
Here is the thread https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...-the-bomm.html Don't know if this will do what you want.

I use a bluetooth adapter called Bluegate I bought from Amazon for 30 bucks. You won't be able to control it but it plays great, and using navigation on my phone, it pulls the music down and the nav voice comes over the stereo!
This one plugs into the intercom in the back, and supposedly lets you control it from the bars. http://www.buysenabluetooth.com/sm10/sm10-01.html
I wanna stream Pandora to my radio without having a wire connected from my cell to aux. What's my options?
We have a radio mod coming out in January.
Will allow Bluetooth streaming audio via the aux circuit without having to plug into the aux jack. Just pair your device with the radio, select aux, and you have audio.
Everything will be internal. No additional wiring or connectors. Will work with any HK configuration.
Check our web site in mid January for details and final pricing. (looks like $150)

That's a great idea and a reasonable price to pay to keep from hanging crap all over the exterior of the radio.
