Well trying out my 5th windshield so far and think I might be done.
I liked my 8 inch LRS EXtreme but it was a little to tall.
The Vstream came in today after ordering it on sunday. So they shipped quick but I received no communtication from them which I found odd but guess it really doesnt matter.
Shield seems to be high quality and after a short test ride I think I got a keeper. Its seems to work just a little better than my Xtreme on the interstate and is much better on the backroads since it is shorter and I can see over it better.
The Vstream measures at 6 3/4 above the fairing were the 8 inch Xtreme was a touch over 8 inchs.
I like the looks as it isnt as wild as the Xtreme but still looks more sporty than a regular style shield. Think it looks similar to the windsplitter but is taller.
So far I am happy but will pass judgement after I get a all day ride in.
I havent got to do a full day of riding yet but have got to put a few hundred miles with it here and there including a 100 mile ride with the last 30 miles in the rain.
I like the shield a lot and plan on keeping this one. Its the perfect hieght for me and works great on the backroads at 65 to 70 MPH. I still get a little glasses shaking on the interstate at 75+ plus but it isnt to bad and no worse than any other shield I have tried.
I leave for a Milwaukee trip in a couple weeks so I will get a good test of it then.
