Default Help ! Front Docking kit

Hi guys ,

Iam trying to install the front docking kit for the detachable sissy bar and its a nightmare.

The instructions are unreliable and sucking :

first problem the docking-point mounting bracket has two letters stamped F and R and they need to face outward as the brackets are side specific (that's what theysay) In reality you can only do that with one of them because you would have to mount the left one upside down and backwards for the stamped letters F and R to face outward which then of course would mean F would be to the rear and R to the front.
So how the hell do you mounting them ?

Does someone which has already install the kit has reliable info ? - mayne a link ...

Thanks
John

Yeah I know what you mean.....I had to just go by the pics and place those brackets on the way I thought they were supposed to go on. And, if I remember correctly, the "F" and the "R" were facing inward on one of the sides...seemed not right, but it worked regardless

What he said. The letters face inward. Also trust yourself and go by the pictures as the instructions are not very clear.
